Privacy Policy
Effective September 11, 2026. Pray & Amen is operated by Honeyground Inc. This initial release is for people aged 13 or older in the United States.
Information we use
We collect your name, email, account identifier, optional profile photo, and the prayer content and interactions you choose to submit. This includes prayers, journals, comments, encouragements, circle membership, Bible studies, prayer categories and moods, reminder preferences, and feature usage. Content you enter may reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive information. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive details or another person's personal information.
Prayer privacy
Private prayers and journals are accessible through your account. Partner and circle content is limited to approved people. Public prayers can be read by others and shared by public link. Private encouragements are visible to the sender and prayer author. These privacy settings control access by other app users; our service providers process data as needed to operate the app.
Optional AI processing
Before sending data to AI, we ask for your permission. OpenAI processes the messages and conversation context you submit to AI Prayer or Bible Study, and the generated response, to provide answers and check safety. Prayer Insights sends activity totals, category counts, and mood counts rather than your journal or prayer text. We do not include your account email or account ID in model prompts. Information you type yourself may still identify you.
OpenAI does not use API content to train its models by default. We do not opt into sharing it for training. We request that generated responses are not stored for later retrieval; OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring data as described in OpenAI's data-use information. You can stop future AI requests by unchecking the AI permission box. Bible study history you save remains in your account until deleted.
Service providers and diagnostics
Supabase hosts account information, authentication, database content, and uploaded profile photos. Vercel hosts the web application and server API. Expo and Apple or Google notification services deliver optional push notifications. We store device push tokens, notification preferences, and technical or security information needed for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal information or use advertising tracking.
Notifications and your choices
Push notifications require your device permission. You can disable reminders in settings or revoke device permission. You may export your account data or delete your account in Account & Security. Account deletion removes associated app content and profile photos; limited security records, provider backups, or information required by law may remain for their applicable retention periods. Do not submit content you need removed immediately from every backup.
Young people
The service is not intended for children under 13. We ask for an age and country declaration and do not require an exact birthdate for that check. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove the account. AI is not a replacement for trusted adults, professional care, or emergency help.
Contact and deletion requests
Contact support@honeyground.com for privacy questions or help deleting an account if you cannot sign in. Please identify the account email and do not send your password.
